Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Short version: PopSomeTools collects only what's needed to run your reseller dashboard. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. Your business data belongs to you.

This Privacy Policy describes how PopSomeTools ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our reseller dashboard application available at app.popsometools.com.au and the PopSomeTools Android app.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.

Business data you enter: Inventory items, expenses, sale records, photo editor presets, and app settings you create within the app. This data is stored in your personal account and is not shared with other users.

Payment information: If you upgrade to PopSomeTools Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.

Usage data: We do not run analytics or tracking. We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or behavioural analytics beyond what Firebase Authentication requires for security purposes (such as login timestamps).

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

PopSomeTools uses the following third-party services to operate:

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and data handling practices. We encourage you to review them.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase infrastructure, hosted in the australia-southeast1 region (Sydney, Australia). Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest by Firebase.

We implement reasonable security practices to protect your account. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including inventory records, expenses, and settings — is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by submitting a request at popsometools.com.au/delete-account.

6. Your Rights

Under Australian Privacy law and applicable international regulations, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@popsometools.com.au or use the in-app account deletion feature.

7. Children's Privacy

PopSomeTools is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
